Overview:

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in communities across the country and around the world. Programs build physical fitness, confidence, and social connection, and many state chapters also offer Unified Sports programs that pair athletes with and without disabilities. Differentiator: sports and community-building focus, available across the full lifespan from young children through adults.
